Battery died. Jump started, then no AC controls.

Replaced with new battery. Also left system disconnected overnight to reset system. Removed Fuse 6 on inside fuse both. Removed HVAC fuse outside.

Condition: No digital temperature readouts next to manual temperature switches. Climate control in Cadillac CUE shows AC as off if I adjust temps with manual, physical switches, CUE shows changes. No defrosts working. Heated seats do appear to function. No blower motor at all. Just nothing.

I am planning on buying an HVAC CONTROL MODULE on ebay and replace my HVAC control module.

My worry is after tearing up the front console, I may later find out that the module I bought needs reprogramming and I don't have the tool to do that.

My dealer quoted $400 for the original part and $500 for labor. I can get the part from ebay for $140.

Im having the exact same issue with my 17 XT5. I was wondering if anyone has fixed this. I saw this thread and I went so far as to replacing the HVAC control module and that didn’t fix the problem. Now I have to tuck my tail between my legs and put that dash back together. I figured I’d look here to see if anyone fixed this issue. One thing I did do that might help you guys is I have a mechanic friend that hooked it up to his $20k snap on code reader and he was able to get the fan and everything to run through the diagnostic computer. Even the temperature lights next to the manual controls came on. We don’t know what that means tho. Any help please.

I’m experiencing the exact same issues on my 2017 XT5 after picking my vehicle up from the dealership for repairs! I’ve been advised that I will need to replace my HVAC Control Module, at a cost of over $1500, before they can even diagnose the issue and there are no guarantees that will fix it!

It was working when it went in, but not after I picked it up. To make matters worse, I have had to replace my battery 4 times in the last 4 years, and as you all know, they are not cheap!
