Check your heater water valve for function. Usually closed by vacuum from the programmer when in AC mode, may have stuck closed.

Feel both inlet and outlet heater hoses, is one warm, one cold? with engine at normal temp. Could have a large air pocket preventing circulation to the heater core. Remove radiator cap with a COLD engine not running. Coolant should overflow from neck if full. If not, start engine and have a buddy keep the idle up like 12 to 1500 RPM. Watch the coolant level till the thermostat opens, then coolant will drop quickly. Then without lowering the RPM, top off the coolant then quickly reinstall the cap. That should eliminate the air pocket.

Try setting it to econ and 90. The radiator fan should only come on above 220 degree eng. temp that way. In auto, the compressor engages and both fan turn on much earlier. I assume the engine gets to 195 to 210 right?
