Default Neutral Safety Switch on my '72

My '72 Eldorado has a Neutral Safety Switch inside at the base of the steering column.
Mine went on me, so I hot-wire the car to start.

These switches, the few I came across the internet, cost an arm and a leg.
So, I'm wondering, if you might know where I can find on under $75.

(This switch is the same for Caddies between 1969 and 1972, I think, and accommodates
6 wires, and vacuum tubes on its back.)

Can someone help me out here?

hello,

you can try car studio where you can find these accessories under 75$ but in my opinion you should buy good quality to last longer.

Thanks!!

On some cars you can jump the connctor plug wires & not have to hot wire it. Now, I ain't really up on Caddys, I've stripped a couple & have to 2 the yard, an 88 Eldo & a 93 coupe de ville. On my fieros, there are just 2 wires in the plug to jump. Rick
