Idle Air Control (IAC) valve 2002 Cadillac Deville
Some times restarting the car after a drive, it doesn't want to fire until I put on a little gas pedal.
One idea I heard was it could be the IAC valve, so I tested it by running the car, noting the normal RPM 850, shutting it off, unplugging the IAC connector, and restarting the car to see if the RPMs fluctuate. Mine didn't fluctuate at all. I plugged it back in and got the same RPM, ergo the IAC issue.
Oh and when crusing at highway speed, sometimes the RPM fluctuates a little bit. Someone said it could be a Camshaft position sensor problem, but that code is now in "History" for some reason.
Thx in advance!
