Default Horns

I have an '02 SLS and the horn is very weak and sick sounding. The dealer wants an arm and a leg to replace the horns. I am pretty good mechanically and would like to do it myself, but I havent been able to find the horn(s). Also, should I replace with oemhorns or is there something better out there ? Thanks..

The sound of a horn is a personal taste thing.

I personally dislike the sound of the horn on my Allante and i keep getting tempted
to go into the auto parts house and buy one that i like .. one that sounds like an
18-wheeler.

Your choice .. they all simply take 12VDC and make noise.

Horns are located behind front bumper cover on passenger side. If in doubt of whose part to buy....OEM (if availible) is normally best choice.

Thanks for the info. I may have to remove that plastic cover under the car unless I can reach them from the top..

take a look at the radiator mounts, sometimes that can be the easier path.
but not sure on your car.
