heater issue

Default heater issue

hello i am new here and just bought a 91 coupe deville. when i turn the heat on i cannot get any air coming out of the vents, only defrost and floor. just wondering what could be wrong. heat is good just dont know why it wont come out the vents in the dash. thank for any responses. also what refrigerant gets used for the a/c?

everything works. air just wont come out the vents in the dash. only on the floor and defrost

Could be as simple as a vacuum leak, typically between engine and vacuum reservior mounted on firewall. Air doors are vacuum operated. Codes may also be helpfull.

air conditioning will come out of the vents.. is there a trick to get the heat to come out the dash..there is no button for the vents. only defrost

System is not designed to blow heat out dash vents, There are occasions when it will happen. When outside,inside, and desired temps cause programmer to send warm - not hot - air out dash vents.
