Default RE: Headlights Quit

Hey GCS1: Do your headlites fail to work in both high and low beam?? It has to be either the main switch on dash , a ground problem, dimmer problem, or if you have the guidematic power relay. If you have sentinel control make sure it is on.Also check photo cell and amplifier for sentinel control.

Default RE: Headlights Quit

here is a good one. I lost BOTH headlights ('88 Allante) after a SMOG DYNO run of extended period.
One low beam went out that day, the 2nd went out about 2 or 3 days later.

When i pulled the bulbs, if found both had broken filaments, low beams.
High beams were fine.

I got my theory as to why that happen, but I sure like to hear any similar scenarios
from others.
