Default gas line leak question

I have a '88 Eldorado w/ a gas line leak in front of the left rear tire. It's at the fitting(badly rusted)connecting the nylon line(to the rear) to the steel line ( to the front). I really don't want to spend a bunch of $ since it's a beater($500.00 car). How can I fix this leak cheaply??? Thanks so much for any help!!! Larry

Safely and cheap may not be entirely possible, Nylon lines were not intended to be mended. I have heard of repair kit is out there but have never seen it. Salvage yard is best bet, ones where you remove part(s) are the best deals. 86-89 Eldo/Seville perferred however Torando / Rivera may work also.
