My 1996 Deville has the 2 user keyless enty but it does not have the security and alarm feature. Does anyone know how I could add those features, and is it just replacing the RKE unit with the better unit? I dont know if there is more to it.

It is not cost effective to try to add OEM Content Security System. It is more practical to get a quality aftermarket type, just don't have ignition interupt installed - "Pass Key" system should keep car from being started.

 

well i am just curious how much work is involved being I already have the factory RKE?
I dont know if it is all controlled in the RKE box or if there is alot more to It
