Exhaust Note Inconsistent
Hey Guys!
(Sorry if this is in the wrong section, it's my first post)
I own a 2015 Cadillac ATS 3.6L with about 32k miles on it. I have put an Axle Back Borla exhaust system on my car which allows me to hear the exhaust note very clearly. I have noticed that on different days the pitch is a lot quieter and different than others. I couldn't find a reason behind this change as it doesn't seem to be consistent with weather or temperature conditions. However, if I rev the car into higher RPM's around 5k or so it seems to metaphorically clear its throat and sound great for the rest of the trip. The difference in pitch isn't immense but it is noticeable, any idea why this could be occurring?
Thanks in advance for any tips!
