Hi everyone , I have a 93 Eldo Northstar ETC with 79k on it but a problem has come up.
The car will idle rough and sometimes shuts down, The dash display says
ENGINE HOT / STOP ENGINE Ive looked at the temp and its at operation temp. 217 F and no coolant loss.
Car starts fine and runs fine until once the temp gets to about 134 f that's when the problem starts and the display comes on.

My first thought was a bad temp sensor once the car is past its choke loop.
I don't have a scan tool for this car.
Has anyone ever had this problem before?
