I recently purchased a2005 Cadillac STS, 1SG Package and Northstar V8. I would like to replace my scratched chrome auto shifter bezel with a new one. Howdo you remove the shifter **** (what holds it on)? Once the shifter **** is off can you pop-off the chrome shifter bezel or do you have to remove the console to get underneath the plate to remove any attaching screws, bolts or retainers?

 

Stick your head between the dash and the front of the shifter and see if there is a clip on the stick
