Default caddy problems

1. Can't get ac to work. Has the code for evaporator inlet sensor(I think) clear it but it comes back immediately.

2. Can't get traction control on/off? Think off feels like no first gear. All codes are on page 2. Possible way to fix or bypass so I have first gear?

Maybe your battery is weak? At least for the cruise thing. My Allante is really sensitive like that.

Battery checks fine. But when driving the volts on the dash will vary from 11.8-13.6 being the lowest and the highest while driving with the headlights on.

Connection to battery are both clean and have good connection. Has 13.8-14.2 volts while driving with headlights off. Then with lights on has 13.2-13.7 but sometime it'll drop to 11.5+- but then it will go back to around 13. So if it is the alternator would that be a problem with my cruise not working when headlights come on?

your generator should never drop below battery voltage so it should be 12.6 and higher so if it is dropping out something is the cause its either being turned off or a diode in it is gone.
cruise control requires certain things for it to work speed and constant voltage if it drops below it will disengage

Also how can I get traction control off? There's a button for it in my glovebox but it doesn't do anything.

@zerobuster, I have read through your thread about your situation with your Cadillac. I have failed to read what the year, model and trim level of your vehicle is. Could you let me know this information?

u have many different problems u need to fix the battery problem first
lowest it should ever get is battery voltage and thats before u start it then it should not go below 12.6 .u may have a green build up of crap at fuse box or the power wire are corroded
