Bose Stero
New Guy Here: I have a 1992 Eldo w/factory am/fm cass. it is not a Bose. I wanted to install a fac.Bose am/fm cass/cd player, but was told it wont work because my orig. system was non-Bose. Is that true? can I make the bose system work? Thanks!

your standard Delco unit is one amplifier sending the amplified signal sent to all speakers.
the BOSE units are pre-amps and send the pre-amp signal to each AMP at each speaker.
If you understand that, and are good at electronics, its more doable. If not, its more expensive.

RE: Bose Stero
basically what he's sayin is that it can be done, but it won't be simple, you'd be better off gettin replacement speakers 5and1/4 for the front and 6by9 for the back and just wire them to an aftermarket deck. It will sound better and be easier to modify it for amplifiers or subs or whatever, and it will come out cheaper and less of a hassle
