Default Alarm on a 91 seville

hey there, anyone know how to either tone down the senstivity of the alarm on a 91 seville or just straight up disable it? the alarm itself will go off at loud noises and even if a bird poops on the car. And with me working at an airport, that means my alarm goes off every day which means its just draining my battery.

Anyone know how to turn that sensitivity down or off? also on a side note anyone know what the reset combo is for the engine oil life display?

If you don't use power locks or remote to lock doors - alarm will not be armed.

thanks for the site, did help with the oil

Yeah im aware that the normal door locks will not activate the alarm, however im looking for some method of disabling the alarms system or at the very least reducing its sensitivity... for instance i was working on my other car the other day, and suddenly the alarm on the seville went off, when i got up to look i noticed a bird had **** on the roof.... it is that sensative. every schematic i look up for relays and fuses show htat the alarm fuse is connected in with the ignition. thus remove the fuse and the car wont start.

if it is not activated that be the same as being disabled.
