Air Pocket
I recently replaced the alternator in a 1999 cadillac deville. Of course this required me to remove the radiator. I also changed hoses and thermostat. Since my repair I do not have any heat and the thermostat appears not to be opening at 180 degrees as it should. I have been told I have an air pocket. How do I get rid of this problem.
i think your car should have a bleed valve on'r. it needs to be open while engine is running to releave the air. not sure though where it is right off. maybe someone will chime in. good luck and welcome to the forum
