93 DeVille Courtesy lights and buzzing

Turn off the car then open and close any door, there is a weak buzzing behind the glove box and the courtesy lights run at about half brightness. Open any door and the courtesy lights go full brightness and the buzzing stops, until the door closes. Place the keyswitch in run position and all is normal. The only error code display is BBB or B88 then switches to 7.0, which I can't find listed anywhere. There are no blown fuses in the fuse block. Nothing in the lighter sockets. Any ideas, please.

Classic description of a blown fuse. You didn't check them all.

thanks for your reply and insistence. I hadn't checked the relay panel on the passenger side (didn't realize it was over there). The 15A door lock, trunk release, rear lighters, etc. had blown. tnx again

Now reinspect the lighters for why the fuse blew. most times a cell phone charger fits too loosely in the socket and will spark as inserted, blowing the fuse.
