My girl has been making the darndest noise. First I noticed a rubbing noise, being in a rush like I am I thought nothing of it until I stopped and something was sounding like a can of bolts, seriously! Luckily I made it home 12 miles away but it seems as if I lost no engine power, no smoking, just this terrible noise. 2 weeks earlier I got a service engine soon light, but no code was stored. It's coming from around the belt accessory area. Some say the a/c compressor is gone, or the a/c clutch, bearing, pulley, or hub is done. I really need help with this one. By the way car has 159k.
