P0507 GM trouble code
Hey all! I just got a 2000 Cadillac Seville SLS and man do I love it already.
However, my Service light is on. I plugged in the machine at Advance Auto Parts, got code P0507.
I then proceeded to take out the Mass Airflow sensor (which looks brand new) and clean the crap out of it.. literally.
The light is still on, and the car idles at around 1100 RPM, which is high.
Any idea what could be going on? Could i just need a whole new sensor?

inspect the intake air system for air or vacuum leaks and damage
the likely problems are:
Leaking air intake after the throttle body
EGR valve leaking vacuum
A faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve
Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body
Failed EVAP system
Failed IAC (idle air controller) or faulty IAC circuit
.
