Hey all, new to the site, and glad to be a part of it....:-D

Ok, I'm looking at purchasing a 1984 Deville from my uncle for a steal. The only issues with the car is that A: The fuel guage is not working B:Air ride isnt working and C: the climate control isnt working. My question to you guys, is if it is possible for all of these problems to me tied together with something in the comnputer or something? Any help at all is appreciated. If you guys have any ideas of a good starting point for each problems, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Not enough description to advise you. Does the fuel gauge stay at e or f? does the climate controls illuminate? does the heater/A/C fan work? Does the level ride pump turn on? We cannt see your car so we need your help please. Also put year and type of car in your signature profile.

 

also, if the A/C is not running and has not run for a long time, its seals are probably shot.
find out what carnut said and when and how this all started ...

BTW, what is the mileage, maint record and price of this steal?
often the family steals are not what people think.
