There is a white chalky substance on my 2022 Cadillac XT4 air filter housing hose. See picture attached. Is anyone having this buildup and have determined the cause? I am concerned it could be a leak or some other issue developing.
I took it to the dealership and was told there is no leak just normal aging of the housing due to the type of chemicals used to make the part. However, this wasn’t a gradual buildup which should happen with a chemical breakdown.
