Question 2005 STS NAV / Radio problem

I was wathcing a dvd of a concert and went for a drive in my 2005 STS. The screen stated it couldn't show the dvd...you know safety. I could however listen to it so it was cool. When finishing my drive I put the car in park and attempted to change the dvd to a differnt cd. Low and behold touching the screen resulted in no responce. It has been two weeks since that has happend and the touch screen will not repond to anything. I've tried removing all of the discs. Putting discs back in with no dvds. I have driven the car about six times since then and for the life of me the touch screen will not work now. The cds play fine albeit only one of the six because i can't change cds without touching the screen, the radio plays fine. It's just the touch screen that stoped recognizing touches. Help

Thank you.

You can try to reboot car by disconnecting battery cables and touching them together. Then reconnect them to battery. If it doesn't work - a trip to dealer is required.
