Hello. I have a friend that recently purchase an 87 brougham. The car is in excellent running order. But we are having problems with a couple of the "body lights" and i can't find a wiring diagram for it. The marker lights on the hood the ones for running lights,high beams,turn signals. And the "b-pillar" lights on the exterior of the car between the doors. If anyone has any info or even better a diagram we can follow to figure out whats going on it would be greatly appreciated. He said he thought it ran off "fiber optic cable" but i don't know haven't worked on one before. Again any help would be great thanks in advance for your time.

 

They would be called lamp monitors - fiber optic cables run from front lights to them. There also be 2 for tail lamps indicators located above rear glass interior molding. B pillar lamps may have been an add on. You should try to find factory service manual - ebay - Cadillac did a lot of Cadillac only things back in the 80's.
