I have a new 2013 SRX which I plan to tow behind my motorhome. I think the owners manual instructions are rather vague. Normally one has to turn the key in the car ignition to ACC to unlock the steering wheel to tow and then the wheels in the car will turn whenever a turn is made. This vehicle has no key, I can go to ACC mode but it only lasts about 10 minutes and then it turns itself off. The question I have is; are the wheels going to turn when I am towing the vehicle and the RV makes a turn even though the ignition is shut off? The car is rated to be towed so one would think all is OK. I would like to make sure before I actually tow it. I will appreciate any useful information. Thank you. Alex.
