got an emmisions test and failed due to a 0717 input /turbine sensor no contact or something. its a 97 el dorado ETC i changed the tranny and might not of hooked it up. im might just have to plug it in but i dont know where it is.

 

It's in there deep. Unless you had the entire side of the tranny apart(pumps, V/B, channel plate) chances are you didn't forget to plug it in.
I've seen this code a couple dozen times. It always ends up being a bad input speed sensor.

You may have a pinched wire or a bad computer, but chances are the tranny needs to come apart for this repair.
