01 Deville base mod. After filling up the tank with fuel, after a while it began to run very rough and then stalled in my driveway not long after. After shutting down, It will sometimes attemp to sputter for maybe one cylinders worth. I put my pressure gauge and all I got was Air out of the shrader valve. No built up pressure or va*** in the vapor recovery unit either. Scanner says that fuel pump relay is always off during startup and sitting with car off but in the run position. No codes. Any info would be great. Thanks.

 

Power and ground at the pump. Replaced Pump, filter, and relay. Runs great. Thank whoever put in that trunk hatch. Every vehicle should be like that.

 

did you have any problems BEFORE that fill up?
did you try to start it AFTER the new fuel filter and before the new pump?

one of the things some say to avoid is filling up at a station when a tanker is unloading fuel.
the pressure of the filling the station's tanks stirs up sediment that can and will clog a fuel filter.
