I just bought a Biarritz which needs a minor amount of work. The chrome which is along the fender and doors is somewhat pitted, and I was thinking of either replacing, or having it rechromed.


Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions concerning this. The chrome is pretty expensive, and I do not know if the pitting can be removed.


Also, one very very detailed but important question: The tiny channels on the chrome are warn, and in some places they are back, and in others chrome....so....I am not sure if the chrome scraped off to reveal the black....or...visa-versa. Does anyone know?
