Nice bit of nostalgia there stealth, those were most definately the days. Gotta love that era in the car business. Nice post.

young enough to pay full prize to the Peterson Museum,
to never have seen an A&W .. except in the movies.
how did they not survive, the A&W's ?

there is on every Wed, a show of vintage cars at the local dinner,
kind of nice, hoods will open, owners will brag ...

Just tumbled onto this post, but had to reply. Great nostalgia in that little movie. Stealth, too bad you don't have an A&W, or ever been to one, but they aren't ALL gone. We still have one in Racine county Wisconsin, on Interstate 94. Complete with intercom ordering and delivery to your car by carhop. If you're ever in the area, great place to show off the Allante's.
