Default Paint clear coat chipping, releasing?

I have a 2005 STS with the upgraded Red paint package. The paint clear coat has numerous places where the clear coat is chipping away, or pitting. Has anyone had these issues with their paint job. The person who does my full detail looked into it and said the Cadillac use a water base paint which has inherant flaws of pitting, chipping, and easy to get swirl marks. If some one has had these issues or know what I should do that please provide appropreate feed back. Thanks for your time.

Where are those places located on the car. Pitting should be under warranty. Is this all over or just in certain spots?
