Hi all. New member here. New 2006 STS4 owner too. After 15 years in SUV's I decided I wanted a "car", but wanted AWD. My dad was a GM emp for years so I stuck with GM. The only AWD GM car I know of is the STS, so thats what I got. But, getting used to a car again isn't easy. I love it but have concerns. Should the tail end be bottoming out with a passenger or two in the back seat? I'm definitely not liking how it takes the dips. I don't know if its a "car" thing or if something is wrong under there. Another thing I'm not liking is the whining noise that sounds similar to a faulty alternator, but the service rep says its normal. Wadaya think?

 

i dont think that the back end should dip all that much...maybe check with the dealer?
