Default 2009 STS Getting Rid of Old Memory Settings

I have a 2009 STS that I recently purchased. I immediately discovered from you guys that there was no way I could add a backup camera to the system plus I couldn't stand the factory nav. Without giving it much thought, I replaced the nav/radio with a Kenwood DNX7190HD that allowed me to have a backup camera. For the most part, it works fine.

What I didn't anticipate was the seat/steering wheel/mirror memory controls reside on the discarded head unit and they reset themselves every time the car is started/stopped based on which FOB is used. Neither FOB's settings are correct for my wife or me and all memory functions must be overridden each time the car is started. Needless to say, it's a PITA.

Question: Is there anyway to disable the memory settings? Disconnecting the battery doesn't work.

Thanks.
