So my 1995 Cadillac STS showed me the "check coolant level" in the information display. I didn't take immediate action and now 2 weeks later i turn my car on and it made a gunshot noise and a little bit of smoke came from under the hood. Is this something serious, rather than just refilling it with antifreeze/engine coolant? I can't drive it right now either. It feels as if its breaking when it moves, and wheni turn the wheel, the tires or something make some sort of little screeching sounds.

 

Anyone!? I can't even get the cap off to put engine coolant in...!! Ughhh
