Default RE: general maintenance

ballpehler33....... gee im sorry, i saw your 1st post and couldn't help so i backed off.....anyway, WELCOME to thr Forum!.... there are a lot of great Techs here to assist with tons of things on your STS.
did you get to member introduction? if not, you should. then the Forum will know a little 'bout you and your vehicles........
i also drive an STS, and live in the north east...... OIL....i use 10w40 in the summer, and 10w30 in the winter. i go to Castrol and use their products they also have a high milage oil you might want to consider.(MAYBE SOME OF THE TECHS WILL COMMENT ON THIS).....though i have been thinking of changingto moble 1. anyway im sort of anil and change oil every 2500 mi, for sure not go over 3000mi.... TIRES... i do alot of highway travel, and run with GOODYEAR.......there are many different kinds of tires to fit many kinds of driver, and driver needs......check a couple local tire shops, and ask questions..they will be happy to help you select the right tire for your needs
were glad you have got the staling problem taken care of....again welcome, have some fun here, and late
