Up until kam reset thread I would say yes, but when tech 2 had issues and code check had missing modules.I would recheck rear fuse box first, there isn't always corrosion to indicate problem. I have seen several fuse boxs with internal open circuits causing assorted problems in cars and trucks lately. They all use the same type box where the large connectors attach to the underside of fuse box. There are no obvious visibles signs. All set U codes
just got back home....going to try and check this fuse box, again tomorrow......in your opinion, what should i look for? or, should i check all fuses/ relays to make sure they are in secure, and working?.......how would one check the relays? i am able to lift it up side down.... should i spray it with cleaner?.......tx slowroll

Does you manual show connecters to fuse box? Your are going to be checking orange and brown wires for 12v with key on.

stealth, katz, stomper, g.a.r.y., flcad, the Cadillac Forum, and last but not least, slowroll.... SUCCESS with the E-Ghost dalimma...... all of you have been so patient, and considerate.....i have learned so much about the STS electrics, and how they work.... this Forum is the greatest!!! to those that have followed this thread, over $2000. was spent onthe STSto findelectric issues, at three different places. then, with a lot of help from this Forum and these Techs......PROBLEMSOLVED!!!! the rear integration module, (RIM) was the culprit. it wasn't till slowroll mentioned the fuel gague, (1st thing to go wacky)runs thru the RIM, did it dawn on me, there are toomany gremlinsrunning for one ground/buzz-box to be the problem.
i was at a dealer in indiana all last week, Pedigo Chevrolet. great bunch there, and real nice store.... they got the RIM for me at a reasonable price. drove home late sat. night, the STS was like a Christmas tree, 30 days before XMas..... gremlins runnin all inside the cabin....... couldn't wait till sundaymorning to replace the module, was up at 6a and workin...... the car has not had one clitch sense........ THE GHOSTS ARE GONE......... Thanks to all, and the Cadillac Forum!!!
THIS THREAD IS NOW CLOSED....LAST POST.....YES......
