Im lookin at a 06 sts a ways away and the dealer says the paperwork says its a v but there are no embelems or anything on the body to suggest it is.. and according to wikipedia 06 only made a sts v in 06.. does anyone kno the answer her

 

dont understand the question ..

for 2006 there are both a STS and STS-V as well as other variations ..
emblems are often removed to "stealth" the body ...
open the hood and look for the superchargers, look at the brakes for the "V", also the tach for the "V"

06 the V6 engine became standard engine, Northstar V8 optional, STS-V it's own model for the most part. The 6 lug wheels are the easy way to identify it.
