I was waxing my 2006 today and found a spot where the paint was beginning to bubble. Looks like the its rusting in that one location. Also have rust under the hood. You can see it when you open the hood. The truck is still under the 100,000 K 6 year warranty (ends in November). Can anyone tell me what is covered? Does it have to be falling apart.

The Rust Through warranty is just that, a rust through warranty. The body panel must have a hole in it due to rust in order for it to be replaced. As far as Corrosion is concerned the vehicle is covered inside and out during the Bumper to Bumper warranty. I would suggest speaking with your dealership to see if the 6 year 100,000 mile Certified Pre Owned warranty would apply in this case. This information is also outlined in the warranty manual you should have received upon purchase of the vehicle. I would suggest taking a look at this manual to see what kind of coverages your vehicle has. I hope that helps you.
