Default Newbie SLS

Hello.
Just stole my SLS. 2001 Diamond white model with 53Kmiles for $2400.

Couple of quick questions.

1. Is there anything special about removing the switch bezel? The function switch (next to fuel gauge) sometimes lights up, sometimes not... I suspect I can just pop out the bezel. Will attempt to repair the switch.

2. I like HID headlights, which were optional on the STS model. Can I just get some STS headlamp assemblies and plugNplay? I noticed the assemblies are sometimes listed with HID modules (power inverters).

Thanks in advance,
Kerry

The oem hids cost more than you paid for car. If you find a donor car it might be worth it. It's more than just headlamps.

Default Update

Spent ~$15 for a 3M headlight restoration kit-worked amazingly well.
$40 for some LED lamps via Amazon. Now I can see so much better and my car looks nicer and fancier with that bright white light.
