I have a '93 Cadillac Seville. It will start when it wants to and run for 10 minutes then die. We replaced the fuel pump today and now it will crank but won't start at all. We've bled the fuel line so there's no air in the system. It has a new ignition coil. Battery is good. What else could it be?
This all started one day when I got in the car and the security system went off and didn't have key fab with me so unplugged the battery to turn off and since then it's been having issues.

 

What does security light do? Do you have spark tester and Noid light. Have you checked for codes. if so ??? Do you have FSM?

 

Security light just comes on when u first turn the key on but goes off. I have no check engine light on. We get spark. I have no way to check for codes cause no one in our town can test anything 95 or older.
We did go back out for the hell of it later that night and it started up. Drove it for about 5 minutes then it just died and hasn't started since. Thinking the comp is screwed up.

 

Car has OBD no scanner required or recommended look in FAQ section. If you press off and warmer buttons on a/c control for 3 sec dic will flash and codes will display. To work on this car get Factory Service Manuals (2 books) Since engine will crank probably not related to factory theft deterrent. Check fuel pressure. Comp?
