Default Clearing Fault codes?

I Just bought my 88 Seville last week and upon turning the key the first thing that shows up on the DIC is A/C sensor Fault warning. Now i have read about this fault in the manual and it states that the A/C will not cycle on and off if there is in fact a fault there. However my roomate and i were working on the car on friday (repairing some cooling lines) and when we started it to test and ensure the cooling system was in fact sealed i had started the A/C to put stress on the cooling and warm it up faster. The A/C is functioning perfectly fine we both heard the compressor cycle on and off along with getting ice cold air inside the car. Now my question is this..how do i clear the fault code? I know with some GMs you can just remove one of the posts of the battery or a fuse to clear the code then reinstall said parts..is the procedure the same with this model?

Codes and how to clear should be in FAQ section or disconnecting battery will clear codes also.

Once cleared, it will return. A current fault will display, a history code will not. So, you need to fault trace this code. Its probably a 1/4 lb. low on freon.
