96 STS oil pan leak

Default 96 STS oil pan leak

I have an oil leak I believe to be the pan gasket, garage wants $900 to replace it. Does this sound right??? Any other suggestions?? Thanks in advance for any help

yea i know the feeling..... i was quoted a little more...... all i did was get under her and give each nut a little tork..... just a little, now. it did work.

i guess they have to remove alot stuff under there, as you will see.

Thanks, I tried that already, Slowed it down a little but didn't stop it. With the 130k on it I'm almost considering doing a crate motor.
