My Eldorado has started to run awful again,I went on a day trip,and was out on the open road,and I went to pass a car and it acted normal,but then it started to act up,like maybe it was'nt hitting on all 8 at the right time. It has an awful ping,and it chugs,the exhaust sounds funny,and the transmission does not shift right,and when it does shift it clunks into gear. This car looks new,has low miles on it,it has been in my family since day one,and always babied,always dealer serviced if it did need any work. I am at a loss as to what the problem could be,I just replaced the fuel filter,cap and rotor. I am just wondering if I have the spark plugs changed,and new wires will fix the problem? The car only has 15,000 miles on it,it has always been in a garage. This car was not used that much,and the past ten years maybe used once or twice every six months. I have used alot of fuel injector cleaner,so I doubt thats the problem. My Aunt always left the car empty,so there would not be a tank full of old gas when she returned to use the car. Any ideas? Thanks

 

i would recommend having a tune up, as it could never hurt.
