2002 Seville STS f55 woes, Seems to have reduced power.
I just purchased my first Cadillac. It's a 2002 Sts, with the F55 suspension package. I come from a Fbody and GM Full-size background, so I am used to working on Gm products.
I need a driver front shock for sure, it is collapse. The service suspension/stability message is being displayed. My concern is that when I took it for a drive it seemed to be underpowered. From what I read, if this light is on it reduces the top speed to 90.
Would this cause lazy acceleration as well? I see no engine light, and no codes are present as of now. The motor is in fine working order as far as can tell, and the Atf in the 4t80e is nice and red as well. I just don't feel the 300 or so Up that this engine is supposed to make.
Your help is appreciated, and I am glad to own one of these fine automobiles.
