Am very new member here and a first time Cadillac owner.

I have recently purchased a 1984 Cadillac Seville which does not run, my suspicion is, it may be a dead battery.
What are other other cause to look out for to have a successful fix of the car to have back to road?

Without a VIN # the car can't be registered and is only good for parts. VIN # should be on dash at base of the windshield on drivers side.

 

The car is mainly for export to Africa, hope it will pass custom inspection at the exit port
