01 Seville Removal of oil Pan
Yes its a dredded problem that I now have to deal with. Why cadillac designed it that way is beyond me!
yes I pulled a bonehead move and slammed the car in the ground pulling out of a steep driveway.
Oil was leaking every where. Trany Fluid and Oil. So both Pans are getting a Gasket job. Pans are ok. no cracks. My mechanic is not to happy with me because he is my friend and hates when I have car problems because he knows my problems are always out of the ordinary.
What is The easiest way? Do I have to remove the Tranny?
Are there some tech specifics that I could take to my mechanic?
Thank you for your help!!!

If your mechanic has a lift. Pulling trans would be easiest route. He will need adapter or fixture for trans jack to hold 4t80e. Adapter bolts trans to jack to keep it on jack, and off what ever it would land on. To do 3 feet off the floor it would better to pull engine.
