Hi y'all, it's been a long time. I had a 87 and a 92 DeVille years ago, and was a member here. Have no idea what my login info was.

The 87 was a factory 4.1, that I swapped a 4.9 block into but kept the tbi injection. The 92 was a factory 4.9 multiport.

I'm about to pick up a 87 Allante, and am wondering about it. It looks like it has a different intake, as well as possibly heads? It's looking like I see fuel rails, is this multiport to begin with? I'm thinking of swapping a 4.9 block as well as converting to mega squirt or something like that possibly. Is it a fairly straightforward swap to the 93 trans? Thanks!
