Here is an interesting item for sale on ebay at the moment. A gold Allante grill. I've never heard of any Allante coming equipped with one, so I think its a replated original or aftermarket product of some sort. Anybody have any info on this? Thanks.

 

No more info, you can see the mounting holes for the Wreath so I think it is a replate of a chrome OEM, very nice.

 

No Allante ever had a OEM GOLD anything .. except the keys.
not even the gold-paint Allatne had gold anything ..

replate .. often dealer provided, but never factory.

 

There are a lot of new car lots that sub out gold plating for customers who want certain things done, including script. Used car lots too hire these guys. After they are done with your grille they can do your faucetts in the house.

 

for my taste, "THAT IS ONE UGLY GRILL"

 

it wont be when the buyer finishes the custom coating being done on it.
