Default Looking for a very hard to find part...

Hello all. I have a 1987 Cadillac Brougham D'elegance, 307 Oldsmobile engine, VIN 9.

Im looking for the bracket that has a curved shape, that connects the power steering pump to the engine via 2 bolts; mine literally broke in half.

If anyone has any ideas or a part number for it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Thumbs up

Not sure about part numbers, but you can either get one from a dealer, or go to a junk yard. The junk yard should be your best bet, since they might have already pulled the bolt off (not sitting outside rusting away).

Bracket should be fairly easy to find used pretty much on all 80-90 olds V8s. there is a bracket that attaches using a spacer to the block just above pan rail. It a 7/16 bolt and spacer is about 1/2 thick they tend to not get reinstalled when water pump gets replaced....if they are missing maybe why bracket broke
