I just bought a 96 Fleetwood Brougham and it only has one key and remote. The car can program up to four remotes, but the key has a resister in it that has to match the ignition switch. Does anyone have any idea where I could get a key blank with the correct resister? I haven't measured the resistance yet, but will ASAP. I would also like another OEM remote. Does anyone know of a place where I can buy resister key blanks and original remotes at a semi-reasonable price?

Thanks! I called our local traveling locksmith. He will make a new key for $19.95. Sure beats the dealer's prices.

The only question left is that of a couple of remotes that the car can recognize. I'll look up the EBAY sites.

Thats funny, I recently bout a 96 FWB with only one key! I bought mine from that ebay seller! Great buy! I had it cut and another for the doors made, $5! Couldnt be happier!
