i recently rebuilt the 5.7 in my 93 fleetwood, i pulled the motor out of the car and left the trans in place, it has the tv cable type trans and the tv cable goes into the ASR module so i left that in place, after i put the motor back in and bolted everything up my trans no longer shifts right, so my question is would leaving the trans dangle affect the tv cable at all? would i have to adjust the tv cable after mounting the trans back in place?

 

Possibly, try to adjust or have cable adjusted.
