Default Windshield Chip on My EXT – Repair Now or Wait?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a small rock chip in the windshield on my Cadillac Escalade EXT and I’m debating what to do. My EXT still drives fine, but I’m worried that the chip might spread into a bigger crack, especially on highway runs.

Has anyone here dealt with a similar chip or windshield damage? Did you go for a repair or full replacement? Any tips on whether it’s worth going OEM instead of aftermarket, especially considering sensors, rain/wipe tech or HUD related glass on some models?

What did it cost you and did you handle through insurance?

Has anyone here dealt with a similar chip or windshield damage, or installed a Polaris RZR XP 1000 Flip Windshield? Did you go for a repair or full replacement? thanks in advance for any help
